Who is Dreamtime Aroha.
I am a self funded start up. I embarked on a project to give our families and friends toys for their kids because there were none that represented them. With no experience in this I researched and watched a whole lot of you tube videos. I bought a sewing machine! I looked all over Australia for fabrics and found dolls that I loved that the kids thought were cute. And from there I got asked for more... and more... and more.
so here I am! Dreamtime Aroha is not a business driven on financial outcome. What I make matches what we give away. The money I make on sales goes back into materials to make more so I can continue to send the babies out to kids.

J is a proud Aboriginal woman and a force of nature descending from the Barungguan & Butchulla People (Biological Father Deceased)
Raised proudly in Meanjin by my Mum an amazing white staunch ally and Dad a strong highly respected Aboriginal Butchulla - South Sea Islander Man who proudly raised me from young.
I am living and working on unceded Yuggerra / Turrbal land
I am proud of my ancestors and where I have come from. I hope that this not only celebrates all my mob and family but my community and cultures.
